Baby Back Ribs


  • 1-3 racks pork baby back ribs
  • 1 cup rib rub, preferred brand
  • 1 cup bbq sauce, preferred brand


Prep over |  Cookover |  Serves: 1
  1. 1) Season ribs with rub on both sides 1 hour before smoking
  2. 2) Set smoker to 275 F, with apple or hickory wood chips to smoker box
  3. 3) After preheating, place spare ribs on the top smoker's rack bone side down
  4. 4) Close hood and smoke for 45 minutes
  5. 5) Rotate ribs from front to back and smoke for another 45 minutes
  6. 6) Rotate again from front to back and flip the ribs over so that the meat side is down and smoke another 30 minutes
  7. 7) Rotate ribs and place them bone side down then brush some of the BBQ sauce on the ribs and smoke them for 30-60 minutes at 350 F or until you bend the ribs and the meat starts to separate
  8. 8) Serve immediately, whole rack or sliced
