Grilling Meyer lemons adds a subtle twist to an old mainstay.
- Cut the lemon into quarters. Grill just long enough to add grill marks to all three sides (both cut sides and the rind). Be careful while turning to not squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
- Combine 2 oz of whiskey, 1 tsp powdered sugar and juice from three of the lemon quarters into a shaker. Shake with ice and strain into glass. Garnish with cherry and remaining lemon wedge, then serve.
LYNX TIP: “Use a 1/2 teaspoon of powdered sugar when you’re feeling sour and the full teaspoon when you’re a little sweeter.”
